Hello, my 10 month old boy is waking every few hours now as he has a runny nose or a blocked nose. We've tried Vicks, those plug in thingys, books under one end of the cot and Karvol capsules..... all with no luck. Grateful for any tips.

PS He doesnt sleep through usually anyway.

Thanks

I used junior olbas in an oil burner as long into the night as I could keep it topped up and then switched to it in a bottle warmer (just kept it in the atmopsphere but never burned dry). Sticking them in a steamy bathroom before bedtime also seems to help.

Not sure if Medised can be given at this age but if it can, it works ime.

you can give medised from 3 months, hth.

It is very very good stuff.

There's not a lot you can do tbh - although saline drops may help (get them from your pharmacist).

Not very helpful I know, but babies and children almost have to get a number of colds per year.

Agree with WWW re Medised for a night or two if old enough.

ah yes cheers mercy, but forgot to say had tried nose drops too (sigh)
