My 10 mth old ds sleeps happily in his cot for naps and also at bedtime (7pm)

Unfortunately, he wakes for his first feed at 9.30 ish and although he dozes off straight away after it, when I transfer him into his cot he wakes up screaming and will not be settled until he comes into bed with him.

I've tried shush pat and all the other techniques that work for naps but he just refuses!

After this feed he sleeps for 4/5 hours so I'm happy to feed him, and he does have a good feed! I just wish he would go back in his cot!

I know that this is so much better than when he wouldn't go in his cot at all about 4 mths ago but I'd love the bed to myself and dp!

Any thoughts/ advice?

Honestly, keep putting him in his cot. The more he sleeps with you the more he will be attached to it. Does he have a dummy/llullabys, maybe even white noise.
