Am shopping for arrival of DC2 - has anyone found this good - and not too hot for summer baby?

Definitely want to Swaddle as worked well with DC1 I just struggled to get the wrap styles snug enough as she got wrigglier..

TIA

Hi Liveintgepresent, I"m a bit late replying so you may have already found your answer but thought I'd let you know. My dd is 6 weeks old and the swaddlepod has been a life saver for us. She would constantly have her arms waving about in the Moses basket. We started to swaddlepod with a large muslin cloth but once she hit about 4 weeks, she could get out of it (we obviously weren't very good), swaddlepod pod just zips up.

I don't find it too hot yet if I just put a vest on dd other then two really hot nights I didn't dare use it.

Hope this helps

Hi, I used the swaddle pod and loved it!! Much better than the blankets and wraps which they can unravel. They are quite thin too, so good for summer baby Smile

Thanks for replies - I am now three weeks in with DC2 - and am loving the swaddlepod- so much easier then my efforts to contain DD when she was tiny.
The first night I used it I got almost 3 hours of sleep from DC2 - and immediately ordered another one so I have one as back up in case!
I have been using just this and a nappy on these hot nights and it seems cool enough as well.
