Tips on moving DS from our room to his

DS is nearly 15mths and has always slept in our room in his cot due to lack of space. We r now creating some room in our box room and thinking of the best ways to move him in there. He's at that age where he knows which room he sleeps in and I am thinking if we dont do it soon he is never going to move. It has been handy having him in with us especially when he wakes up. ANY TIPS?

Just do it I guess. The cot will, I assume, be familiar. Take him in there lots so he recognises the room. Be prepared for a few disturbed nights but I@m sure he'll settle without a fuss.

do it but once you have dont go back on it no matter how hard it is - otherwise he will think he can change your mind about anything - stick with this throughout his entire life its my only good piece of advice. good luck!

let him see you moving the stuff in there...and let him be part of it by taking his toys, blankets etc. put some photos of you up on a string with pegs, and some wooden letters spelling his name on the door.

toddler bed, then he won't feel he is being locked in away from you. DS did go through a phase of night-time visits but sleeps in his own room all night now. I did find it very hard though after co-sleeping!
