5yr old with no sleep routine at all

Until she was about 4 my DD had a good sleep routine and would get into her own bed, in her own room, story & sleep. About a year ago she started playing up with various fears, waking in the night and needed me to sit with her until she fell back to sleep. This progressed with the arrival of DS14wo. DD has refused to sleep in her room point blank. Nothing we do can get her into her bed let alone sleep in it. She becomes positively hysterical, screaming she is scared and will keep her eyes wide open to stop herself from falling asleep. Her lack of sleep routine is quite frankly ruining our lives. Me & DH get absolutely no time together & he has now taken to sleeping in her room whilst she sleeps in bed with me. The baby is regularly woken up by her screaming& crying. I am really at the end of my tether with her and am being to resent her :(. Any advice would be gratefully appreciated. Xx

You need to be very firm and reintroduce her old bedtime routine. Decide how you are going to do it, stick to it, do not waiver.
