Ok so DS has been waking every half hour or so, screaming then going back to sleep. After observation last night I think it's wind as he goes stiff and strains while screaming, then trumpsand goes back to sleep. Any ideas on how to get rid of the wind?

How old is he? Too big for Infacol? That always worked for us.

PashaFox · 06/03/2013 08:42

7 months, Infacol's never worked for him :(

Could you bring bedtime bottle forward? Give a warm bath after maybe a massage? And then put to bed?I had to do this with dd2 as going to bed in a bottle have her tummy ache. She slept much better when I stopped.

if hes arching back and he is more unsettled when laid flat plus if he is quite sicky it might be reflux?

Aworryingtrend · 06/03/2013 08:46

just seen hes 7 mths, if he is on solids could something be making him windy like a food intolerance?

PashaFox · 06/03/2013 08:51

Will try bath with massage tonight, also gripe water that I don't remember stopping but somewhere down the line I clearly did! Not sicky, and wriggles around all over so couldn't tell you if he was unsettled. Not sure on food intolerance, only thing he has the same everyday is a yoghurt so if gripe water doesn't work will cut that out

Might also help if you keep evening meal really simple for a while. Steamed chicken , rice/mash and broccoli kind of thing. Nothing tomato based as they can be quite acidic. :)
