My daughter has always been a good sleeper, sleeping through 11-12 hours straight from 8 weeks. 2 months ago she was ill with pneumonia which disturbed her sleeping. Since then she has not been able to sleep more than 3 hours without having to be settled. I am reluctant to use the pu/pd method as she doesn't cry or scream when she wakes but is standing up in her cot unable to get back down by herself.
She does have a dummy when she goes to bed ( I'm thinking of trying to get rid as she doesn't use it during the day).
Does anyone have any experience of this or any suggestions to get her back on track? Day time naps were also good but now they seem to be hit or miss?

Thanks

We have been using gradual retreat and it's worked a treat. btwiki.ebrey.net/index.php?title=Sleep_Training_-_Gradual_Retreat
DS similarly slept through from 7wo then at 7.5-8mo began waking. This has helped enormously and took only a few nights to work, no tears or tantrums. He is now sleeping 8pm - 5/6am.

Thanks I'll take a look at that.
