Dream feeds - are u an advocate or not?

My husband dream feeds our 4mth old boy each night at 10.30/11pm. Sometimes he has to wake him first. Baby then stil wakes at 2am/3am. I go to bed at 8pm so get some sleep before he comes into our room. It helped when he was feeding loads as a newborn but now I'm wondering if its a bit pointless and extra work for husband? It may also be making things worse or creating bad habits? What are your experiences? Baby is FF. Confused

Also keen to hear what people think. We did it with ds 1 and worked really well but ds2 is literally impossible to rouse enough to take any milk so have given up (9weeks) he wakes himself at about 11.30 and then again about 3.30. We are going to give it a few weeks and maybe try the dream feed again !
