3 month old very sleepy today

my 13 wk old DD is a pretty good sleeper at night, but has been very sleepy during the day, and crying a bit when she is awake.

When she is awake and not crying, she's alert and smiley, and she's feeding fine with the usual amount of wet nappies, but the level of sleepiness is unusual for her as she's taking any possible opportunity to sleep.

she's had a nasty cold for the last week which finally seems to be on it's way out, so is it likely that she's sleepy because she's been ill, orshouldi be worried?

Could be the cold, or has she just gone through a growth spurt? They tend to spend a lot of time sleeping after one of those.

Sometimes they just have sleepy days, especially if they aren't well. If it continues though, you may want to get it checked out

Has she had her vaccinations recently? After his 8 week jabs, my DS slept for the whole afternoon and then for 13 hours at night without a break!! (which certainly was not normal at 8 weeks old!!). Might be the jabs?
