Last solid feed of the day - what's nice and digestible?

My dd has her last lot of solids at 4.30pm ish, with a final milk feed at 7.30pm after her bath. She still doesn't sleep through, and isn't waking because of hunger - but may have a tummy ache (?) or teething (?) or just plain ornery!
I was wondering what other mumsnetters give their little ones (dd is 6 months) for tea. At the moment I'm trying to keep the last lot of solids as bland as possible, and usually give ebm with porridge. But I really want to start giving her "proper" food at that time. Saying that, I always used to be a great one for cereal for supper! And experiments with more traditional teas like cottage pie or pasta seem to have resulted in more unsettled nights. I'm rambling now, but await any info or advice. All responses gratefully received!!!!

GF recommended baby rice, milk and fruit and I found that was a nice way to end the day for my daughter when she was that age. Gradually as she ate a bit more variety etc. I gave her more savoury things but she still likes a bit of cereal and fruit as a desert.
