Should I be keeping 5wo FF DS awake during the day/waking him up from naps??

Hello, yet another post from me about my DS's feeding/sleep habits!

My 5wo DS is formula fed. He is a very sleepy baby during the day, and seems to want 3 two-hour naps per day....after each daytime bottle basically: one mid morning, one over lunchtime, and one late afternoon.

For example, this morning (after a weird night where he fed at 2130, 0230 and 0445 and then woke up at 0700 grizzling and wanting cuddles but not hungry), he finally properly woke up at 0800, changed, had bottle at 0830, had some nice awake time, and then started falling asleep on his playmat just before 0930. So i put him in his moses basket in the lounge at 0930 and he has now been asleep for almost an hour already.

Should I be waking him up after 90 mins or something?? just worried he is getting too much sleep during the day - it seems like a lot of nap time to me?

any advice gratefully received.

noo that sounds fine. They cant be awake very long at that age - if I recall DD managed about 45mins.awake at any one time. I would offer her milk at 7,10,1,4 & 7 in the day. If she was awake, great, if not I would lift her out of her basket and change her bum which would wake her enough for.a feed.

Your ds sounds fine. My ds who is 17 weeks is like this. Most babies can't stay awake for very long.
