Dummy - how to get rid of it

Says it all really... DS is 17mos and when we get back from Xmas we want to take his night dummy away (he's stopped using them in the day). On occasion in the car he will drop off without it already and at night he goes to sleep with one in but sleeps with it out and 'replugs' himself as needed.

So do I just "leave" them in Florida?!?

A friend of mine goes to a teddy bear shop, primes the assistant and tells dc that the cost of a bear is their dummy! Dc hands over their dummy in payment... Has worked a charm for all 3!!

Dummy Fairy worked for my two. I didnt try until they were 2.5 tho. That way they were old enough to 'get it'.

So, dummies were left under their pillow and presents were there in the morning. Simples.

Thanks guys. Anyone done it sooner? I'm worried if we have another kid it will be harder so think we should just get this dealt with!!

Perfect timing to give it to Father Christmas. Worked for mine, but they were a bit older. Good luck!
