Almost 1yo - would you just go to 1 nap

dd used to:
wake - 6.30
nap 9.45-11
nap - 2.00-3.20
bed - 6.45/7

Now at almost 1:

wake 7am
nap - 10.30 - 1 hour (sleeps 10.45-11.30/45)
nap - 2.45 - sleeps 3.15-4 (we wake her to preserve night sleep.
bed 7/7.15pm

She usually sleeps through, although has woken once or twice in last 2 weeks. Think that might be teething.

Even at the time we put her down she's not really that tired. The pm nap is always cut short beacause we wake her. Even when we cut them am sleep shorter (4omins) we don't really get longer pm nap.

Does anyone think it might be worth trying for just 1 nap a day? Would this maybe encourage her to sleep for longer at this just one time of day.

Does anyone have any experience of this?

We did at about 16 months I think. MAybe cut one even shorter?

Thanks Loops - Maybe I'll try to cut am nap shorter but I have tried before and doesn't seem to result in longer pm nap. Maybe I should try for a longer period of time I guess!

Bedtime seems to be getting later now too!
Today was:
7am - wake (although had a restless night I think cos of teething. Poor things had bright red cheeks, rubbing her ear etc)
10.00-11.00 - nap 1
2.50-4.00 - nap 2
7.10 - in bed but didn't settle until 7.50pm

I guess I could try for something like:
7am wake
10-10.40 - nap
2.00-3.00/3.15 - nap
6.45/7 - bed

The only reason I don't is because no matter what, she always takes ages to settle for pm nap but not for am. That makes me tempted to do 1 nap about 12noon but not sure if that would just be big mistake. Oh decisions, decisions!
