The CLock Change Seems To Have Completely Messed Up Mine & DD2's Sleep Pattern!

Hello - Anyone out there!!!?

Ever since the clock change, my sleep is completely out of sorts. I am ok during the day, but from about 6pm onwards, I feel completely drained and shattered. I feel totally weird - like I am tired, but wired at the same time. It is horrible. I have been going to bed about 9pm and going out like a light (unusual for me, I normally take aaaages to go to sleep), then I have been waking up two or three times a night, feeling like I am completely awake and ready to get up, normally about 3am and 5am. ARGH!!!

DD2 is also having difficulty. She is sleeping FOREVER in the mornings (from about 8.30am til 12 / 1pm) and not really having a sleep in the afternoon. She's then pretty knackered by 4pm, but I keep her going. By bedtime at 7pm she is very tired and wingey, but when I put her to bed she suddenly becomes totally awake, bouncing up and down in her cot an jabbering excitedly!!! Finally she drops off (8pm ish) and is then up between 5 and 6am sort of crying on and off (we normally leave her to it, unless she becomes too distressed.)

ARGH!!!

I am not sure whether I am posting this just to share my worries, or if there is anyone out there who can suggest a solution / something I could try - or whether there's anyone out there in the same predicament!!? It is driving me nuts - espcially as I sometimes work in the evenings and therefore need to be fully awale and on the ball.

Thank you for listening!! Smile

my ds2 who os 1 is the same. never really been a brilliant sleeper i have to say but recently he sounds identical to ur DD! except that he wakes at about half 1 and is unsettled for a few hours till DS1 wakes him (they share a room)

No advice, sorry. just wanted u 2 know that u weren't alone!
