Should I change a wet nappy during the night on my 4.5 month old DS?

This might seem like a silly question but my brain is a bit frazzled. After I put DS to sleep for the night at 6.30-7ish, can I leave the same nappy on all night until morning? I feed him at 11pm and have previously been changing him then but not sure if it's needed and would prefer to just start dream feeding.

I've only ever done poops at night. Wet nappy waits for morning.

He will be fine. Modern nappies are designed to give up to 12 hrs protection.

Thanks guys! Sometimes you just need to run obvious things past someone else to check. I don't always trust my own judgement!

Remember there are those blessed individuals with babies who sleep 7-7. I doubt they set the alarm to get up to do a nappy change.

Good point. I try and pretend those people don't exist in order to save my sanity.

Only change nappy if it is a poo or has leaked. That is the rule!
