My dd is nearly five and my dd2 is 5 months and i only have a 2 bed house so eventually they will have to share but i dont know when she should go in there. He is a bit rough with her and am worried that he may put something in her cot and she could choke or what ever. Any advice welcome.

I put my dd in with my ds when she was 5 months. I wasn't going to for ages for the very reason you are worried about but, I decided that if they are going to get used to sharing then why not try now. She isn't a great sleeper and my ds sleeps through most of her crying and I didn't think it was practical trying to settle her in our room to then upheave her to a new room and surroundings, etc. It works quite well although she still wakes up and there are times when she does wake my ds up so we often have one or the other in our bed with us but she is much better with noise now and doesn't stir when he goes into bed. He is good too and doesn't get out of bed so I didn't worry as much after a couple of days of him trying to put things in her cot. Good luck.
