Can learning a new skill make a baby wake up a million times in the night?

Please say 'yes' and that my 12 week old (who discovered his voice yesterday) won't wake me up every hour in the night forever...

lol ye i think so!

when my dd learned to roll over on to her tummy its all she did for 7 whole days. i think the record was 13 times in one night i had to get up and roll her back as she couldn't do it herself. GRRRRRR!!!

it did pass tho!!!

Second "The Wonder Weeks". When DD was a bit over 1 we had a horrid week in France of waking loads and for ages, then she spoke her first word and started walking.
