7 month old pooing at night and waking up twice screaming after illness

Help! My seven month old was sleeping through from 7pm to 7am from about 5 and a half months old. Then about three weeks ago she started waking up crying because she had done a poo. She then started at nursery two weeks ago and became v ill. She is not ill now but is still waking twice at 2ish and 5ish. Each time she is inconsolable and at 2am she has normally done a poo.

My partner and I are so tired that we have just started to bring her in bed at 5am so that we can get some sleep.

Any ideas how I can stop her pooing? Any ideas why she is waking still and how to get her to sleep through as she did before

Hiya
There is something about having main protiens at lunchtime, and different foods in the afternoon, but I cannot find the link anywhere -hopefully someone else will have more info. Not sure exactly but late prtiens lead to later poos...

Hiya

I have remembered where I saw it!! Its from Gina Ford's Contented Little Baby under early morning waking \link{http://www.contentedbaby.com/sleeping.htm#Age6_9\ here}
But it is for early morning waking not middle of night -sorry. Back to the drawing board...
