Our ds is 27 months and was a terrible sleeper then we found the babywhisperer and it worked we got him into a brilliant routine of having 2 naps a day now we are down to a short nap.

Now I come to down to night time its crap he wakes sometimes 5 or 6 times a night and up at 5:30 some mornings. We are at a total loss with him!

What does everyone else's routines look like for this age? Do you hace naps or no naps? Set naps and set b/times?

Please help!!

One did have a nap and one didn't. Both still woke once or twice a night at that age though. Have you tried him without one and what happened?

As for the night wakings, what do you do when he wakes?

Thanks for replying. If he doesn't have a nap he wakes every hr.

We usually tell him its ok and stay for a min and leave. He has been ib the past on a great routine and slept from 8:30 til I woke him at 7:30.

It started since we got back from holiday ib june, then ilness after ilness then big bed.

I wilk read over your links.

Forgot to say, DS was waking at that age in pain and DD stopped waking at night at 2.8 when I stopped feeding her. Up until then I had been happy to feed her in the night as she only woke once or twice, fed for 5 mins and was back asleep.

He does have a canine tooth just breaking the gum but I have been giving him painkillers and still doesn't seem to help.

Im just not sure what to do anymore, I feel like a zombie with a new born.
