Am I being really evil today waking 10wk DD up?

DD hasn't been too bad a sleeper so far, but yesterday she decided to spend most of the day sleeping. Cue me being kicked in the stomach in the early hours of the morning for well over an hour (co-sleeping) and giving me & DP an awful night's sleep.

So far today, DD has been trying to sleep through the day again, so this afternoon, I've put her in her travelcot/playpen which instantly wakes her up and she's being really shouty because she won't sleep off me.

Am I being a bad mother just to want a decent night's sleep?

Nope! We'd all be bad people if we just wanted a decent night's sleep!

I follow the Gina Ford sleep/nap routine (very loosely I might add, I'm far too lazy to keep to exact times). I think at about 10 weeks old, they should be having about 4-5 hours sleep between 7am and 7pm in order for them to sleep well at night.
