baby waking because of rolling over?

Hi

My DS is 1 on Sunday and is a rubbish sleeper. It seems to have been one thing after another. I did think about sleep training. Started no cry sleep solution and did some PUPD but I didn't keep that going as he started to settle better anyway and I was just too knackered as I'm doing it on my own (DH not helpful).

Anyway, he has got MUCH better and I dont' think he is waking for milk though a quick BF is the fastest way to resettle him, so I am still doing that at the moment. The last few days, he has been waking up several times a night because he is rolling over onto his front, pushing up into crawling position and then waking up and crying cos he is 'stuck'! I end up caving in and bringing him to bed with me as I'm so bluddy tired and then he sleeps no problem and doesn't wake up.

Anyone else had this weird rolling over/crawling issue? Not sure how to fix it. I think maybe it'll resolve itself when he is properly crawling? He is a later developer physically.

Happy birthday to your ds!

Not had to same issues but I think you are right and it will be a short term problem as he learns to move about easier.

Although I know when you are so tired 'short term' or 'phase' don't help at all! (dd currently wakes at 3am every day!)
