Light therapy and early waking - might be worth trying

My 7 month old DD has been waking up 5 - 6am for the last three weeks (in addition several night wakings) and as a result we have all been so tired and miserable.

I have tried everything, she has consistent nap routine and I am sure she is not over or undertired. We have blackout blinds, she has good dinner etc.

I was browsing the sleepstore website for advice and came across this www.thesleepstore.co.nz/sleep-information/infant-sleep/facebook-threads/light-therapy-for-early-waking-thread

We tried it last night, I gave her dinner in the garden and then we played outside till 6pm when she has her bath. Not sure if it was the fresh air or just a fluke but she slept till 6.45 this morning.

Just thought I share this as from lurking I see that there are many early wakers around at the moment and the weather is nice enough to try it.

Now that's one thing I haven't tried yet! Although I have a hunch it's the fresh air, but whatever, if it works who cares what it is! Thanks for posting!
