I'm trying to move my two-year-old to her own room, but she wants the lights on. This is keeping me awake, do I let her back into my bed and try again in about six months, I exhausted, older two no such problem

Get her a proper nightlight that won't keep you awake.

Thanks for the advice but...
Only 2 plugs in the room, one is miles away from her bed and the other one near the bed taken with baby monitor. tried double plug but the night light interferes with that. Not sure I like the idea of having a cable right across the bedroom floor.

erhmm, why not put the monitor in the other plug?

Why not get a monitor that has a nightlight as part of it?
