7 month old waking all of a sudden

Our 7 month old daughter has just started waking 2-6 times per night crying, we pop her dummy back in and she goes back to sleep. But its draining.

We are sure its teething so we put teething gel on when we put the dummy back in but still she wakes later.

She eats so well during the day so i dont think its because she is hungry.

If it is teething is there any tips? We are shattered.

Some nights she doesnt wake at all but usually its 2-6 times.

Watching with interest as my own DD is doing exactly the same

This happend to my DD, who is now nearly 8 months now. She had previously been a great sleeper and I have to say, it totally floored me.

I posted on here and got lots of good advice and the general consensis seemed to be that this is normal at this age: developemental leaps and teething.

Her sleep hasn't gone back to what is was before, but it has greatly improved. The waking every 1-2 hours lasted for about two weeks I would say.

I've no advice for you I'm afraid. I tried a few things, but none made any difference. However, it might pass fairly quickly though. Fingers crossed!

For her more recent sleep problems I have been giving her Calpol before she goes to bed becauase she was waking a lot in the early evenings and displaying teething symptoms duing the day. This seems to have worked, although last night she was up from 1.30am till about 4am and I could not work out what was wrong with her.

Exactly the sane here too. Was sleeping thro beautifully till dd had a gastro infection. Had troubles swapping milk etc as seem suddenly seemed intolerant. Now been put down to reflux so propped her mattress up and on gaviscon. But still waking twice most nites. But much more comfortable. Usually settles again quickly! She's just 8 months x x
