My 6 month old self settles in the cot at bedtime but will only take naps if rocked to sleep in the pram. I'm trying to get her to nap in the cot but whatever I try she eventually ends up screaming and I get her out.. Once she's started crying properly she won't calm down unless there's a total change of scene.

Might PUPD work even if she cries when picked up? Any other suggestions for getting her to settle?

So far I've tried shush pat (screams), holding hands and singing (screams), recreating bedtime routine (screams), pottering about the room for a bit (screams) and leaving her to cry for a bit (sreams a lot).

How long is she awake for before you try to put her down for a nap? If I try to put down my 6 month old DD before it's time, she's not happy either!
