Has anyone got or seen a particular large moses basket that will last 6 months+

Second baby on the way dd will have just turned 2 then, I will want to keep dd in the cot until she is at least 2.5yrs. My moses basket didn't last dd very long, we're a tall family so, looking for a bigger than usual one, hope someone might be able to help. No traffic on the cot/bed product board - hope its OK to post here!

Would a crib work? After the Moses basket, we moved our baby into a bedside crib (the brand was troll I think). We did move her into a big cot at 7 months as we wanted her in her own room, but they do look bigger than a Moses basket.

Hope you find something!

Why not go straight to cot in your room?

Thanks wanttomove, I'll look into a crib but would like something light giving the option of taking onto another floor in the day or to my mums for the day.
Never - dd is in the cot still and don't want to buy another for just a short period. I'm hoping to co-sleep but this is just for naps and if I'm too nervous to co-sleep when baby is very tiny.

Micralite carrycot fitted my friends baby til 6 months but mine was bigger and only til 3 months! Maybe a bigger pram top? My mum has a very old silver cross one (not the posh ones) and it fitted my big babies to 5 months. Could get one second hand?
