Tomy Sleepcurve mattress- which Moses basket/cotbed?

We've been lucky enough to come by these mattresses, both the Moses and cotbed versions.

However the M&P Moses basket we looked at is much smaller- which Moses basket do the many owners of these use?!

Then looking at cotbeds- these seem to be BIGGER than the mattress!! What do people do- pad round it? ...Surely not safe?!

Would welcome any advice from people- lots of people seem to have them!!
