Dd2 (6) is waking earlier and earlier, this week she has been up by 5am every day and today its 3am. I am fed up with it, i know she can't help it as she has Autism but the lack of sleep is catching up with me Sad, i have had enough of watching yo gabba gabba at silly o clock.

Thank you for the moan x

Thank you for the sympathy Smile

When i had children i exopected swome sleepless nights, just didn't expect 6+ years of sleepless nights, maybe one day she will learn to sleep all night and give her mummy a breal (or maybe not), she's on sleeping meds but it only knocks her out and doesn't keep her asleep, i cant regive it after 3am as it will not work (although i am trying), she's now wida awake and playing with her toys, i wonder how long before she wakes he sister up Sad. She will be tired and grumpy all day and i will have to send her into school like it ( can't keep her off because she's tired), hopfully it meens she will sleep well tonight so i can have some kind of lie in tomorrow .

Poor you, craving bed is rubbish isn't it. I'm awake so that 7 day old dd can sleep on me and not in her basket. 3 yr old Ds will be awake at 5 if he keeps up current form. Rubbish.

i hope you manage to get some kip today.

Marne · 23/03/2012 10:10

Luckily she went back to sleep on the sofa but has woken up with a temprature (has only been back at school 4 days sinse the last time she was poorly) so she's staying at home today whilst i catch up on some house work and gardening

She has got worse sinse 3pm so took her to the gp, her tonsils were huge but no signs of infection, she also has a red ear but again not infected and her glands are huge, gp said 'just viral' and to keep an eye on her, hopfully she will sleep well tonight, she's very tired as am i.
