Sorry that title doesn't make sense. (am on hour 11 of a 12 hour shift)

How old could they be and still nap and still sleep well at night?

I have been really unlucky. Mine have given up daytime naps by 18 months. But a friend of mine, her DS is 3 and sleeps for 2 hours after lunch and still goes to bed at 7 pm and sleeps to 7 am.

ds2 slept in the afternoon until he was 4. went to sleep at night around 8/8:30pm

i think he would have continued if he hadn't had to start school
