When did out move DC out of sleeping bags- and did it help them sleep!?

DD is one (today Smile) and for the last six weeks or so her sleep has been terrible. It started with a cold, the teeth and now seems to be habit waking. This has all coincided with her becoming more confident on her feet and wanting to stand up in her cot. My initial thought was that the sleeping back, which makes this harder, may aid her sleep, however as this is clearly not the case I am wondering whether giving her greater freedom to move around and blankets/duvet instead may help?

As I say, clutching at straws perhaps, but I am close to reaching the end of my tether working full time so bugger all sleep....!

I kept DS1 in grobag until he was 3. DS2 is 2.5 and still in his. Under 3, I find that on the nights they slept/sleep under a duvet (when they come in with me or stay away from home) they faff about inordinately with duvets - constantly pulling it off or creeping right under it, and seem incapable of adjusting it - wake up and wail because they are too cold/hot. But perhaps mine were/are just duvet-incompetents!

My DS is one as well...never been a great sleeper but its got worse lately. I think it's developmental thing, he's just started moving about/pulling himself up etc. I don't really think a sleep bag will cause these problems.

Have to say I prob do all the "wrong" things like cuddle to sleep, co sleep...and I've got to a point that I'm also knackered and seriously going to have to do something about it..thinking The Sleep Shuffle or something like that.

Sorry I'm not much help, just feel your pain x
