my dd is 10 months old she used to have her last feed at 10.30pm but I was keen to drop the 10.30pm feed she used to sleep through till 6.30am have another feed and sleep till 8.00am the plunket nurse said to bring back her feeds untill her last feed was at bedtime so far I have got it back to 9.30[m but now she is waking at night between 12am and 4am, and then again at 5.30/6.30am then shes up and wants to play I dunno what is worse staying up till 10.30pm to give the last feed or getting up to her in the night and she drinks only about 50 ml of her bottle. Any advice is welcome!!!!!!

Did this with DS at 5months old. I dropped the dreamfeed thing and he started waking in night, but I just did controlled crying for a while. He soon realised that Iwasnt going to give him the attention and got bored!!

Im a real softy when it comes to the controlled crying thing, first time mom you see but my dd has to learn that mom isnt gonna come running to her at her every beck and call my dh says that she knows that she can get away with almost anything with mommy he tougher yopu see. I will definately try it and see what happens. Thanks for the advice.

Alternatively reinstate the dream feed for a week and then gradually start to water it down. I find that this way babies tummies learn that they don't need that feed then and they give it up by themselves.
