Is it ok to bf to sleep when she can fall asleep on her own for naps she's almost 5 months old

Yes. I still sometimes bf my 3 year old to sleep. She is also capable of falling asleep by herself.

I actually can't understand the mentality behind not feeding your baby to sleep. I don't get it. Especially at night, when your milk contains special sleep inducing hormones for exactly that purpose.

Don't worry. Bf away. Get some sleep.
