6 month old can't sleep now she can roll in her cot

We've now removed the sheet we used to have in our wee one's cot as she can now move 360 degrees and we're worried she'll end up under it. She now struggles to get to sleep as she moves about the cot and ends up with her arms between the bars or on her front, she screams until we come and move her. This is constant.

Anyone been in a similar situation or got ideas on how we can resolve it?

In the same situation here, and have no suggestions! Doesn't always happen, and only during the day, but when ds is falling asleep he will often end up face down/head against cot bars, then start wailing, so we have to start again! Although this afternoon he got onto his side, with his feet wedged in the cot bars, and fell asleep like that, so maybe he's getting used to not always being flat on his back? (i crept in and un-wedged the feet)

I've been recommended these: www.amazon.co.uk/Airwrap-Side-Protection-System-Sided/dp/B002CPO7BE/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1326138520&sr=8-8

Might give them a try if she keeps getting wedged between the bars!

I've rolled up some towels and put them down the side of the cot under his fitted sheet. Sure professionals would frown upon this but he rolls less and doesn't get stuck anymore.Grin

I know this is rubbish, but it will pass! For us it took about 8 weeks til DD happily snuggled down on her tummy. I used to roll her back when she woke in the night, I now think that was a mistake but obviously it's up to you whether you think your DC is OK on their tummy.
