Why can't you use a duvet and sleeping bag together for a 1yo

Dd likes to be cosy and is strong enough to kick covers off. Why not both?

Sorry to hijack but need to move from a grobag as DS hates them now. He is 18 months old, I can use a cot duvet now can't I? He can kick them off if gets too hot I guess.

duvets are ok from 1 year. You should not use a duvet and sleeping bag together as there is a risk of overheating - use one or the other not both
