When do you have to stop putting baby to sleep foot to foot

My dd has just turned 1. Until now she's been in sleeping bags but I am about to get her a duvet which I think she'll prefer. Do I still have to put her with her feet to the end of the cot? She's used to having her head at the end.

My ds was in sleeping bags until he went in a bed at 3. I found that anything else he would kick off and wake up. Sleeping bags are the best thing ever invented imo! :)

If you do get one, I should think that she would stay at the top. More than likely if you put her foot to foot she will shimmy her way up there anyway. Just put her in as normal and tuck her in well. Make sure that the duvet can't come up to high.
