1 year old waking earlier and earlier

My one year old DD has never been a great sleeper. We had finally got her to sleep from about 7.30pm to 5.30/6am. This was amazing after the first few months of no broken sleep. She doesn't like to co-sleep (we're both big fidgets). Recently she has been waking 10 minutes earlier every night. It was 4.30am this morning. She won't go back to sleep even after a BF.

I am going back to work in a week and can't do this once I am working full-time. Her first nap is at 7am, for goodness sake. I have been pushing her bedtime a little later, 7.50pm last night but it has made no difference. Nor does what she eats in the day seem to matter.

What can I do? Bottle of milk in her cot at 4.30am and see if that works, later and later bedtime? The whole shush/pat thing just makes her mad.

Hi MrsTerryPratchett - not dissimilar tommy own problem (see my post). I wonder if it's being overtired as I found a later bed made thinzgs worse. It also seemed to get worse for me when she went from 2 sleeps to 1. Does she have a decent pm nap?

Hi Spatchy, I will have a look at your post. She used to have 1.5 hours in the morning and about an hour at 1pm. Now, because she is wiped out early... Yesterday she had her afternoon nap at 10am!!! She didn't want to sleep again. Maybe she is overtired. I will try everything to get a good afternoon nap today and see what happens.
