Would this be safe to stop 8 month old rolling / waking / screaming in night?

DD unsettled last week or so - been through it before a couple of months ago - but now she is worse rolling onto tummy and waking up howling -several times a night and very hard to settle. I am back at work and finding it hard to cope with tiredness.

Hoping it is a phase and may pass over the Christmas break but if not - would this be an option or is it pointless / bad idea ?

Anyone used one?
Or any other advice welcome.... Am trying to tell myself it's a phase she seems very different last few weeks - really keen to be mobile and very inquisitive - extra alert am rambling now it's the tiredness you see :)

Hi, not sure on the sleep wrap but my DS (10mo now) went through this phase at about the same age. There is a growth spurt at around 9 months and he also learned to crawl and pull up which led to not settling and waking LOADS. Just wanted to reassure you that it does pass :)

What jugsmcgee said.

DS is 10 months and he went through the rolling/waking phase and has just been through the crawl/stand/waking phase which meant he wanted to practice at all hours of the day Hmm. Luckily both lasted a week at the most and he's gone back to being settled again.
I remember DD going through the rolling phase - she hated being on her tummy and I had to turn her back over no less than 23 times one night! Was relieved when it was over!
As far as buying anything, I personally wouldn't bother and would wait it out and see for now.

Oh thanks so much for reassurance.
It passed last time but this time it's been harder - because of work really. And she was wide awake each time last night.
Was scared you were going to say it lasted weeks/ months - one of my colleagues has already suggested controlled cryingHmm
Will see how we go over Christmas - am trying not to stress about being away and keeping relatives awake at night if she is unsettled!
Rosemallow am so impressed you even were able to count to 23 ..
All quiet so far tonight - fingers crossed!

It is so hard not to stress and when it's going on it seems like it's never going to stop! Same as rosemallow, DS just wanted to practice his new skills all the freaking time. He would just wake up and be wide awake for an hour or two at a time, argh! And oh god, the rolling phase. Babies eh? Good luck, hope things settle down soon for you.
