i havent had a full 8 hours sleep since I was6 months pregnant. My baby is now 10 months.
She will go to sleep when i put her in cot but throughout the night she wakes 3-4 times. I bf her back to sleep.
Im literally so tired i cant function. I spent most of the day crying because im in such despair over it.

Yes she does have a bedtime routine
Pls help me get her to sleep through the night. I can no longer cope.
Thankyou

How are you doing today RL?

Some good advice from narmada IMHO.

Something I do to stop my DS falling asleep on the boob is to put him in his sleeping bag AFTER his feed. So he's usually drowsy, but awake, when I put him down. Once in bag, I give him his sucky and sing to him for a bit, beofre putting him down. If it helps you in any way, he usually has a little grizzle...even though he's been self-settling since 9 weeks old. That's not a boast BTW, just to reassure you that it's rare for babies to fall asleep without a peep! He's 7.5 mo.

In the daytime I make sure that his feeds are spaced far enough away from naps. And it's only his bedtime feed that is before bed. And i do the above.

Does your lo fall asleep in her pushchair?

Second getting your other half involved. When we go to bed we agree earliest time I'll feed him...it's 5am at the mo! Any time before that, DH will go to him, offer some water and give him a hug. We never leave him for more than 10 mins crying before going in to cuddle, and repeat until he drops off. Longest has been 1.5 hours of going in and out. Often it's just one trip and DS realises he's not getting boob. He's been ill so that's why we're having to employ tough tactics again now he's better!
