DD is a dreadful sleeper and to give myself and DH a break, my parents are taking her tonight. I'm really anxious over it. I just packed her bag and started to get a little teary. We'll put her to bed over there and leave when she's asleep. I'll head over around 7 tomorrow morning to get her breakfast etc.

Please can someone reassure me? We're 3 mins away by car and I'll have my phone on, but I'm wound as tight as a piano string right now.

It will be fine Smile Just enjoy the child free time and sleep. She is with people you know well and care about her. They are probably worrying about looking after her as well as you do. Enjoy Smile. It is one night and there will be many, many more ........

You'll be fine. Just think, you never know... One night away might break her bad sleeping pattern! Just enjoy the free time. She will be fine and won't even know you aren't there.

Thanks! I've a horrible weird feeling that she might sleep through just because my parents don't really believe she wakes as often as she does, and it would be Murphy's Law that she'll do it for one night only.

Still feeling emotional, but I'd love to be able to finally go out for a night, and this is the first step. The amount of weddings I've missed in these last 18 months... Xmas Sad
