DS3 has always been a relatively good sleeper - well, certainly in comparison with his two older brothers who were terrible sleepers. He has been happy to settle himself to sleep on some occasions, and has consistently woken only once a night for a feed for the last two or three months (he is five months old). He seems to breastfeed only when he is hungry and doesn't seem to comfort suck as much as my other boys did.

However, for the last two or three weeks, he has woken almost hourly and needed feeding/lots of cuddles/comforting every time. Now, I am happy to give him what he needs in that respect, of course I am, and I have just been going with the flow really, but I am wondering now what's going on and whether perhaps I am making the problem worse.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? Should I just keep doing what I'm doing? Is he going to sleep properly again?

TIA for any help/advice/handholding! Am truly knackered!

Poor you! No advice really but sounds like he needs you at the moment; maybe teething? You sound like you are a great mum and I think if they have been good sleepers they will be again once the blip has passed. One day at a time is my mantra at the moment, with 2 ds taking turns to need me in the night! Yawn
