Has anyone used the baby whisperer successfully?

DD1 was a gina baby, but am looking for something a bit more flexible for my 8 week dd2. I like some of the things about wind down that the baby whisperer talks about but some of her ideas are so different from gina, I am wondering whether they will actually work?

I am not familiar with GF I'm afraid, but I have used baby whisp with DD (mainly EASY to get me established into a routine) and its worked brilliantly for me.....most of the time!

EASY routine worked really well for us. Have used her books loads and would recommend them to anyone.

I found EASY a nice idea and I try to implement it, but very loosely! However, her ideas about breastfeeding are deeply bizarre and you'd be better off getting advice about that from MN rather than trusting to the BW.

easy was fab for us. also her pick up - put down to help child leanr how to be calm in your arms, then go to sleep themselves. yes, totally saved me from chaos at about 5-6 weeks of age. very kind and respectful about kids as opposed to others kids to be tamed approach. for us her feed timings where daft, my ds bf every two hours for 4 months and that was that. fine by me.

lovely lady, sadly missed.

Can someone please explain what EASY is as I have watched the babay whisperer but never heard of this.

We used it to help establish a good routine although DS still doesn't sleep at 13mths. It did help to a certain extent.
EASY - Eat, Activity, Sleep, Your time. So baby is feed, plays, sleeps and whilst they sleep you have free time. In theory!
