Just wondered what opinions are as we have tried leaving her bedroom light on very dimly as she had stopped sleeping through the night. For the next few nights. I got concerned that it would become a habit and so turned it off. FOr the last 2 mornings she ahas woken at 5am and cried. This morning, however, i turned the light back on dimly again and she settled herself back to sleep. Any ideas??

I think they can be afraid. Maybe she needs to see familiar surroundings to feel safe and secure?
