When did you drop the dream feed?

On a good night (about two thirds of the time) my lo goes to bed at 7pm, wakes up or is woken up at 11pm for a big feed (in theory a dream feed but never works like that) and then sleeps until about 6am. Sometimes she wakes up in the middle of the night for a little breast feed too.

I tried dropping the 11pm feed but she just woke up at 2am desperate for a big feed.

When did you drop this feed anyone? Or do I continue for ever?

good point - she's 9 months (and I know I am lucky to have good nights like these at this stage)

I'm dropping the dream feed at the moment with my 8 month old DD. My sleep specialist gp said that biologically they can go through the night (12hrs) from 9kg so it's a weight thing not an age thing.

I dropped it at around 10 months and had no problems - he started sleeping through pretty quickly. As far as I can remember, anyway!
