I have ds who went to sleep all through night (apart fom dream feed 10ish) from 5 weeks. My DS 2 is 8 weeks no where near sleeping through Just seen the nightmare post about babies not sleeping through til goodness know when! I never knew ds1 seemed to be unique!

My question, does it make a dramatic difference bottle fed or breast fed? My
DS1 bottle fed , DS1 breast fed....

My DS1 slept through from 6 weeks, DS2 was 8 months, both FF.

I don't think feeding makes a difference I think it's just down to the indiviual.

My DS was 3.2YO before he slept through a full night, although obviously he was'nt waking for food just various reasons from not being tired to needing a drink.

I also have identical twin sisters who were both FF from birth, Dsis slept through from 6 weeks Dsis2 slept through from 4 months.

Well, now they're grown up, DS1 is my MIL very responsible and grounded boring and DS2 is normal slightly more outgoing. I have no idea whether this means anything at all... Grin

My ebf DS (now 15 months) used to take the bottle occasionally until about the age of 10 weeks. All I can say is that he seemed to sleep for longer stretches after having been given formula.
He never took the bottle again though since the age of 3 months...
Now he sleeps through about 5 nights out of 7. But we definitely hit about every sleep regression there is..
