DD1 is 2.5. She sleeps 12 hours at night and up to an hour's nap during the day, although not every day.

Gmakes3 · 14/08/2011 22:05

My DS 2.3 sleeps 1.5 hour daytime nap then around 11 hours at night. He tells me he does not need a nap but is asleep after 5 mins so think he still does. I do have to manhandle him upstairs now and again. If he doesn't have a nap which is very rare he is falling asleep about 4ish.

By 2 my DD had dropped all naps and her night time sleeps got longer and deeper.

winnybella · 16/08/2011 22:53

DD 2.6 sleeps 10-11 hours at night and doesn't nap most days- if she does it can be 1 to 2 hrs.

vanimal · 16/08/2011 22:59

DD 2.2 sleeps 12/13 hours at night, and 1-1.5 hours in the day.

Mine slept for 1.5hrs nap yesterday and 3hours last night. That means I got 1hr. I am so tired! She is full of beans, she just doesn't need much sleep. That was a particularly bad night but on average she goes for 9hrs at night and has dropped daytime naps.

DS sleeps roughly 10 to 11 hours at night and between 90 and 120 mins in the day. She is 3 on Thursday.

Ds is 2.9. Sleeps 1.5-2.5 hrs in day then roughly 10 hrs per night. Up bright and early-I'm just up early!

SESthebrave · 17/08/2011 07:19

DS is 2.3yo and normally sleeps 8pm - 6am with a post lunch nap of about an hour.

twinsister · 17/08/2011 08:03

DD1 is 22 months and normally sleeps 7pm - 6ish am then for a couple of hours during the day

TheyCallMeKipper · 17/08/2011 08:12

Ds 2.8 sleeps between 9-11 hours (average 10 I'd say) and naps 1.5 - hours (average 2) hours in the day but quite often goes without his nap at all these days.

Quenelle · 17/08/2011 16:15

DS 2.2 sleeps from 8-6.30 roughly and doesn't usually have a nap in the day now unless he falls asleep in the car for half hour or so. If he has longer than half hour nap he won't get to sleep at night until nearer 9pm.

lastonetoleaveturnoutthelights · 19/08/2011 13:06

DD 2.7 sleeps 10/11 hours at night, normally 8-9pm until 7.30am (summer hours - she'll be up earlier when nursery re-opens!) and often a 1 hour daytime nap. She really hates the daytime nap, and when she does have it her bedtime is later, when she doesn't we can get her to sleep before 8pm. Although she battles the daytime nap sleep will often get the better of her, and if she doesn't have it she is cranky all afternoon. It's hard to win.

So up to 12 hours per 24 hour period asleep, I'd estimate.

MogandMe · 19/08/2011 13:15

When DC was 2.11 he was still sleeping 7-7ish each night and then varying from 40minutes - three hours at lunch time! depending on our plans, or how early/late he went to bed - if he headed to bed at mid-day then I left him to sleep as long as possible - My only sleep rule is/was no sleep after 3pm. So even if he fell asleep at 2.50 then he would be worken at 3.

DS is 2.9 and normally does 2hour nap and 11.5-12hours at night. I'm finding if I let him nap longer than 2 hours he wakes early the next morning
