41/2 yo waking up to 3 times a night

i really hope someone can help. my son wont sleep at night and when he wakes he is really angry about being awake screaming and shouting at everyone. most nights he kicks my husband out of bed at least once he has slept through a couple of nights but dont know what was different! we are both so tired all the time and im sure he is too.

tamela, I have exactly the same issue with my daughter. She is now 4 1/2 years old and is waking up at 1am, 3am and then getting up at around 5:30 and staying up !

I don't know whether or not its a growth spurt maybe ? She has slept soundly since she was 9 weeks old, but as soon as she hit 3 1/2 it all changed and she has become really restless at night.

sorry I cannot be of much help but I feel for you as we are totally exhausted too, have full time jobs and my mind is deteriorating fast !

so, if anyone out there has any tips, please give us a shout.
