My DD is 4 months and I am worried I have already created that infamous 'rod from my own back' when it comes to bedtime.

She BF to sleep at around 7pm. Wakes for a feed at 11pm-ish then has started to come into bed with us as she is easier to get back to sleep. When she wakes between sleep cycles during the night she needs to feed to get back to sleep, occasionally she will accept a cuddle. She wakes about 3-4 times.

I am just wondering if any more experienced mums have had the same thing. Will she grow out of needing to BF at night or should we start working on other strategies? If so WHAT...I am so lost

Yes, she'll grow out of it :) 4 months is still very young, and frankly if she's only waking 3-4 times a night I would consider yourself lucky Wink

I found that my DS's habits changed and evolved all the time at this age, and the easiest thing was just to go with it rather than tie myself in knots trying to impose a structure only to see it change within a few weeks.
