Anyone here care to translate a weird dream for me?

I was in a house with some girlfriends

Not my house, not friends I recognised but I knew they were good friends

We all went to bed, but I knew that one of them had a shotgun and was going to shoot us in the night, so I crept downstairs and escaped

I got into my car (not my current car, but a silver Ford Fiesta I had a couple of years ago)

I was driving away, aware she was chasing me with a shot gun

I finally pull over, but she comes towards my car

I cower, in the footwell and she shoots me in the back.

It goes black, so I guess I die, then I woke up.

I rarely remember my dreams but remember this so vividy. Anyone care to translate?

Thanks

bit creepy sorry no advice other than dreams can mean/show the opposite, but also can be metaphors for your deep feelings, gut instinct so reading it literally I would watch out for her, back stabbing, out to get you - why did you not alert the others do you think? Did you know it was only you?
interesting
i dont dream much anymore or not remember much Smile
your subconscious is telling you to beware i think

I had a dream earlier this week that was essentially a Dr Who adventure except that instead of the Doctor and Amy it was Will and Kate... that was v odd Confused

Hmm, I know a bit about symbolism in dreams.

Firstly cars symbolise your direction in life, and the control you have. Because you were driving means you did have control but the fact that you were driving at night and being chased by a friend with a gun could symbolise a fear of something, possibly the fact it was an old car could mean fear of something from the past affecting you. I'm not sure what the friend has to do with it, but death means a big change, similar to the death card in tarot - it generally doesn't mean death, it could mean an emotional part of you is dying off (perhaps you feel excluded from your group of friends? That maybe your losing touch with this part of your life?) but it definitely symbolises change.

Hope this helps x

Hmmm, thanks theillustratedmum. Don't feel excluded from a group of friends at all.. My Dad dies 2 years ago, and for 18 months I was a mess. Just feel like I am getting over that IYKWIM? Could be that?....
