When can I start allowing my daughter to use a pillow?

My daughter is almost 2 and has recently stopped using grobags at night and now has a lightweight duvet for her cotbed, I have never given her a pillow as you are always told not to when they are tiny. Can anyone tell me when it is safe for her to have one?

I think my Ds went onto one at around this age - certainly when he graduated from the gro-bag to a duvet.
Not a safety risk when they can roll over and get themselves up etc

they are ok from 1 year

My 2 yr old is still in his cot (won't bore you with reasons why) and I have a very thin pillow that I put under the bedding. So it raised but he cannot get to it.

But should think your child would be ok. My eldest was fine with one once he was in his toddler bed.

Thank you all for your help. I think I'll try her with one soon, but I'll wait til DH is not working night shift so he can help with any issues too! Just the switch to a bed and toilet training to master now :)
