dd2 (7mo) has only just been deswaddled and has also recently moved from a hammock to a cot. Now she is flat in the cot she doesn't seem to like being covered. She doesnt like sleeping bags either. At the moment she is either in a babygro or a babygro and vest if it cooler. But her hands were pretty cold this morning. Not sure what to do as I don't want her waking up any more than she already does. We have the window open a crack as we are in a small new build which gets pretty stuffy.

Any advice? I've just wasted £22 on a sheet sleeping bag from jojo which she doesn't like.

12 week old DD2 is currently in a vest, sleepsuit and 2.5 tog sleeping bag though I have a thinner 1.5 tog for when it'll get warmer.

Would your DD wear a fleecy sleepsuit either over or instead of her babygro? I'd be pretty chilly in just a babygro and vest I think. However, cold hands aren't an accurate indicator of their body temperature - mine often has cold hands but is quite happy - if the back of her neck/tummy is warm then she's fine.

Thanks. I have got some fleecy sleepsuits. I wasnt sure if they'd be too warm. I suppose I should find out what the room temp is.
